Mark Turley; Ghostwriter, Author, Editor, Journalist

Mark is one of the most seasoned ghostwriters in the business. He has eight published books, two of which were nominated for the major William Hill Sports Book of the Year award. He was a winner of The Guardian Sports Book of the Year 2015.

His journalism has appeared in national newspapers and special interest magazines and he has worked as a screenwriter on three feature film projects. Mark has made multiple appearances on national radio and TV, including interviews on Channel Four News. In 2018, he was invited to the House of Commons to speak to a select committee about using sport as a tool to engage disenfranchised youth. Mark works at LGC on both fiction and non-fiction titles as a ghostwriter and editor.

Mark is from a boxing family and is related to several former and current professional fighters. Originally from south of the river, he now lives in North London with his wife and kids. Due to Mark’s experience dramatising life story into literary prose he successfully moves between all autobiographical forms; literary memoirs, auto-fiction and biography among them. Favourite authors include John Steinbeck, Charles Bukowski and Irvine Welsh. Favourite books include; The Pearl, Vurt and The Acid House.
